TYPE SPECIES: Lituiherpia spermathecata Salvini-Plawen, 1978.

Sclerites acicular combined with hook-shaped and scaly elements, arranged in several layers. With common atrio-buccal opening. Midgut with constrictions. Without dorsoterminal sense organ. Genital opening unpaired. Without copulatory stylets. Without respiratory organs.”
