Oopila pallidaria(Geometridae, Geometrinae) is a emerald moth. It's founds in Brazil(states of Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Paraná), Argentina and Paraguay. In Cerrado(savanna woodland)of Minas Gerais, it's associated the Fabaceae. Eggs are flattened and pill-box shaped, just as found in other species of the Geometrinae.Mature larvae of O. pallidaria present prothorax well developed, with one pair of protuberant projections.The larvae bear coloration similar to substrate (leaves) and resemble parts of the host plant (mimetic posture). The adults is nocturnal and each femalelaid on average 65 eggs.
