Metatheria (Marsupial Mammals) is an infraclass of Mammal. There are 700 species of Marsupial Mammals, in 268 genera and 60 families. This infraclass has been around since the aptian age. It includes groups like Marsupialia, Glasbiidae, and Pucadelphydae. They are omnivores. Reproduction is viviparous.
