Gray shiny crust lichen with thick, rough, concentric-walled, heavily-pruinose apothecia, on conifer bark.
Bark of mostly of conifers.
According to Brodo, this is the only disc-bearing Pertusaria with heavily pruinose discs and ragged concentric rims.
