Twining shrub, usually leafless, branches smooth green, c. 1.5 mm in diameter. Leaves (when present) 40 x 1-3 mm, linear or lanceolate, nerves obscure, petiole 1-2 mm long. Flowers in lax axillary trichotomous cymes. Bracts ovate deciduous or persistent. Calyx 5-lobed, lobes 1-1.5 mm long, ovate, blunt, ciliate. Corolla lobes c. 2.5 mm long, yellow, oblong-lanceolate, glabrous outside, villous inside, corona yellow, of five filiform hairy processes. Filaments glabrous, anthers hairy on the back. Follicles c. 7.5 cm long. Seeds not seen.
