Plants annual, 30-70 cm tall. Stem erect, slender, simple or branched, sparsely glandular hairy in upper part. Leaves alternate; petiole 1-2.5 cm; leaf blade rhombic-ovate or rhombic-lanceolate, 5-13 × 2.5-5 cm, lateral veins 7-9 pairs, base cuneate, margin sharply serrate, apex acuminate. Inflorescences axillary, racemose, 3-9-flowered; peduncles 3-5 cm, sparsely dark brown glandular hairy. Pedicels slender, bracteate at base; bracts linear. Flowers yellow or pale purple, small. Lateral sepals 2, ovate, cuspidate. Lower sepal funnelform, abruptly elongated into an involute, long spur. Upper petal orbicular, apex shortly rostellate, abaxial midvein carinate; lateral united petals clawed, 2-lobed; basal lobes subovate, apex acute; distal lobes obliquely ovate, larger, apex acute. Anthers obtuse. Capsule subcylindric. Fl. and fr. unknown.
