Lecudinid gregarines, gamont elongate, more or less pointed at one end; pellicle of gamont hairy; syzygy tail-to-tail, occurring very early; gametocysts elongate, crescent- to sausage-shaped, preserving the form of the coupled gamonts; oocysts ovoid, with a thickening at one end, emitted in chains; in polychaete; type species - D. hatti.
