Test: oval to pouch-shaped, ventral surface flat, dorsal surface rounded. Pseudostome: oval, antero-ventral, with thin, clear anterior, scalloped collarette. Shell composed of small siliceous grains, in organic matrix, colourless, transparent. Pseudopods unknown. Habitat: marine littoral sands. Two species, Type species: Rhumbleriella filosa Golemansky, 1970.
