Test elongate, ovate, 0.28 mm to 0.92 mm in length, commonly occurring in empty tests of other foraminifers; wall proteinaceous, single layered, containing numerous platelike or elongate secreted bodies and some foreign particles; aperture at one end of the test, rarely with a second aperture at the opposite end; one to three globular nuclei.
