Also distributed in Ceylon, East Indies, north Australia and Hawaiian Is. (Clark & Rowe, 1971); Australia (Rowe & Gates, 1995). Ecology: benthic, inshore, continental shelf. General distribution: tropical, Indo-Pacific Ocean, depth range 0-100 m. (Roxe & Gates, 1995).
