Mustela altaica (Mountain Weasel) is a species of mammals in the family Mustelidae. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix iii. They are native to the Palearctic. They are solitary, crepuscular carnivores. Individuals can grow to 243.52 mm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on running and arboreal (locomotion) to move around.
