Tupaia tana (Large Tree Shrew) is a species of mammals in the family treeshrews. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They are native to Asia. They are solitary, diurnal omnivores. Individuals can grow to 185 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on arboreal (locomotion) to move around.

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled.
