Melursus ursinus (Sloth Bear) is a species of mammals in the family bears. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are native to Asia. They are solitary, nocturnal omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 480 months and can grow to 1595.23 mm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on running to move around.
