Fossa fossana (Malagasy Civet) is a species of mammals in the family Malagasy carnivores. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. They are native to Ethiopia. They are solitary, nocturnal omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 132 months and can grow to 456.88 mm. They rely on arboreal (locomotion) and running to move around.
