Dichrorampha alpinana, the broad-blotch drill, is a species of moth of the family Tortricidae. It is found in almost all of Europe.
The wingspan is 13–15 mm.[2] The forewings are rather dark fuscous, much mixed or almost wholly suffused with orange or bright ferruginous.The costa is posteriorly strigulated with whitish .There is a dull orange very oblique transverse median dorsal blotch, the edges nearly straight and two dark leaden -metallic very oblique streaks from costa posteriorly. There are three black dots on the middle of the termen, and a pale subapical dash. The hindwings are dark fuscous, lighter basally. The larva is yellow-whitish; head light brown;plate of 2 brownish -tinged.[3]
Adults are on wing from June to August. They are often on wing during the day.
The larvae feed on Leucanthemum vulgare, Chrysanthemum leucanthemum, Achillea millefolium and Tanacetum species. They feed on the roots of their host plant.[4]

De brede geelvlekwortelmot (Dichrorampha alpinana) is een vlinder uit de familie bladrollers (Tortricidae). De wetenschappelijke naam is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1830 door Treitschke.
De soort komt voor in Europa.

En middelsstor (vingespenn 13-15 millimeter), kraftig bygd vikler. Vingenes grunnfarge er brun. Forvingen har en stor, gul, kommaformet flekk ved bakkanten, og noen små, hvite flekker ved forkanten. I vingens ytre del er det et innslag av lysere skjell som gjerne danner mer eller mindre tydelige tverrbånd. Arten ligner mye på reinfannrotvikler ( Dichrorampha flavidorsana), for å skille disse to artene må man oftest undersøke kjønnsorganene, men hos gul prestekragerotvikler er den gule flekken ved bakkanten av forvingen gjerne noe bredere enn hos D. flavidorsana, og forvingens grunnfarge gjerne mindre gråaktig.
Larvene utvikler seg på røttene av prestekrage (Leucanthemum vulgare), i likhet med flere andre rotviklere. De voksne viklerne flyr i juni-august.
Arten er utbredt i Europa, unntatt den østligste delen, og i det nordlige Asia. I Norge er den funnet spredt nord til Nordland, men ser ut til å mangle på Vestlandet.
