The sapodilla seed borer, (Trymalitis margarias) is a species of moth of the family Tortricidae. It is found in Sri Lanka. This species has a wingspan of 17-20mm.[2]
It is a highly invasive species that attacks sapodilla species very often. The attack symptoms are only visible after days of infestation of larva. Larvae emerge from the seeds. Damaged fruits are frequented by small black ants.[3]

Trymalitis margarias is een vlinder uit de familie van de bladrollers (Tortricidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1905 door Meyrick.
