Fraxinus (Ash) is a genus of shrub in the family Oleaceae. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and North America. They have samaras. Flowers are visited by White-throated Sparrow, Northern Cardinal, Blue Jay, and Tufted Titmouse. Individuals can grow to 18 m.
