Packera paupercula (Balsam Groundsel) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to Canada, Eastern North America, North America, The Contiguous United States, and Alaska. Flowers are visited by drone fly, Vanessa virginiensis, Amblyscirtes vialis, and Trichodes nuttalli.
