新真骨鱼亚群（学名：Neoteleostei）是辐鳍鱼纲新鳍亚纲真骨下纲的一大演化支，包括辫鱼目、仙女鱼目、灯笼鱼目、须鳂目、鲑鲈目、鳕形目、海鲂目、月鱼目，还有种类繁多的分支棘鳍类，其中包括金眼鲷目和鲈形亚类（包含多目，如鲭形目、海龙鱼目、虾虎鱼目、慈鲷目、鲽形目、隆头鱼目、鲈形目、鮟鱇目、鲀形目等等）。[1][2][3][4]
分类
本亚群属于骨舌鱼高群、鲱头鱼总群、正真骨鱼群，是巨口鱼亚群的旁系群，其演化关系如下[4]：
