They are native to The Contiguous United States, Bahia, Rio Grande Do Sul, SãO Paulo, Mata Atlântica, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Distrito Federal, RondôNia, Caatinga, U.S. Virgin Islands, ParaíBa, Santa Catarina, GoiáS, Tocantins, Paraná, Mato Grosso, Rio Grande Do Norte, Pará, Alagoas, Amazônia, Pernambuco, Pantanal, Acre (Brazil), Maranhao, Minas Gerais, Piauí, Cerrado, Pampa, Puerto Rico, Ceará, Roraima, and Rio De Janeiro. They have compound, broad leaves.
