Platycyathus scottianus Wells 1933

Platycyathus scottianus is a species of cnidarians in the family caryophylliid corals. This species is extinct. Dead Platycyathus scottianus form shallow marine sediments. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
