Sepia officinalis (Common Cuttlefish) is a species of cephalopods in the family cuttlefishes. They are native to Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. They are solitary, nocturnal carnivores. Individuals can grow to 400 mm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on swimming to move around.
