Leptopsammia (Cup Coral) is a genus of cnidarians in the family dendrophylliid corals . They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Cup Coral form shallow marine sediments. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
