Duncanopsammia axifuga (Whisker Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family dendrophylliid corals . They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Whisker Coral form shallow marine sediments. Whisker Coral form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
