Montipora efflorescens (Blue Polyp Encrusting Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family staghorn corals. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Blue Polyp Encrusting Coral form shallow marine sediments. Blue Polyp Encrusting Coral form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They have parental care (symbiont inheritance).
