Montipora flabellata (Blue Rice Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family staghorn corals. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Blue Rice Coral form shallow marine sediments. Blue Rice Coral form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They are sessile animals.
