Heliofungia actiniformis (Mushroom Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family Fungiidae. This species is extinct. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Mushroom Coral form shallow marine sediments. They are solitary. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
