Colonies are massive and rounded. Corallites are singular, with thin walls. Calices are 10-13 mm in diameter. Septa are straight and widely spaced, without paliform lobes and are aligned with those of adjacent corallites. Colour: yellow or greenish-brown. Abundance: uncommon but occurs in a wide range of habitats. (Veron, 1986 )
