Cyphastrea chalcidicum (Lesser Knob Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family Merulinidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Lesser Knob Coral form shallow marine sediments. Lesser Knob Coral form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They are sessile animals.
