Porites columnaris is a species of cnidarians in the family Poritidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Porites columnaris form shallow marine sediments. Porites columnaris form marine reefs. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled.
