Porites compressa (Stony Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family Poritidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Stony Coral form shallow marine sediments. Stony Coral form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction; they are broadcast spawners. They have parental care (symbiont inheritance). They are sessile animals.
