Porites porites (Finger Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family Poritidae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Finger Coral form shallow marine sediments. Finger Coral form marine reefs. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction. They have parental care (brooding). They are sessile animals.

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled.
