Nitzschia intermedia is a species of diatoms in the family Bacillariaceae. They are native to Pernambuco, Rio De Janeiro, Rio Grande Do Sul, Mato Grosso Do Sul, and Paraná. Dead Nitzschia intermedia form siliceous oozes.
