Also distributed in Ceylon, Bay of Bengal, East Indies, Philippines, China and south Japan (Clark & Rowe, 1971); Australia (Rowe & Gates, 1995). Ecology: benthic, continental shelf, inner continental shelf. General distribution: tropical, (?Indo)-west Pacific Ocean, depth range 25-55 m. (Rowe & Gates, 1995).
