Short Billed Pigeon

Short-Billed Pigeon resting in the trees above a canal in Tortuguero National Park, Costa Rica - Feb 2005Not completely sure that this is a short-billed pigeon, so please comment. The beak seems to be longer than it should be, and the coloration doesn't exactly match the descriptions I've read and the photos and drawings I've seen, but perhaps it's because it is a juvenile.
