Psittacula krameri (Ring Necked Parakeet) is a species of birds in the family Psittaculidae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Central African Republic, Uganda, Burkina Faso, Niger, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Pakistan, Egypt, Chad, Vietnam, Ghana, Benin, Sudan, Togo, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Senegal, Ethiopia, Mauritania, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Afghanistan, Liberia, India, China, Cameroon, Djibouti, Nepal, Nigeria, Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire, Eritrea, Sierra Leone, and Gambia. They visit flowers of mountain ebony. They rely on flight to move around.
