Ara ararauna (Blue And Yellow Macaw) is a species of birds in the family parrots. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They are native to The Nearctic and The Neotropics. Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled.
