Phalacrocorax varius (Australian Pied Cormorant) is a species of birds in the family cormorants. They are diurnal. They have parental care (pair provides care). They rely on flight to move around.

Definition: Because of the difference in refractive index between air and water (or corneal tissue), a curved cornea is an image-forming lens in its own right.
