Caprinoidea is a superfamily of mussels. There are 47 species of Caprinoidea, in 44 genera and 4 families. This superfamily has been around since the cretaceous period. It includes groups like Caprinidae, Antillocaprinidae, and Caprinuloideidae. They have sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
