Pseudoceros lividus Prudhoe 1982

Pseudoceros lividus is a flatworm that was first described from Kangaroo Island (South Australia) in 1982 by Prudhoe (Prudhoe, S, 1982. Polyclad turbellarians from the southern coasts of Australia. Records of The South Australian Museum (Adelaide) 18: 361-384). Prudhoe describes it as a blue-ish flatworm with a white outline, oval in shape, and about 5 mm long and 3 mm wide. There is a small sucker underneath and near the mid-line. It is distinguished by two other blue species in the genus (P. concinnus and P. tristriatus) because of the lack of other coloured bands.
