"In young specimens the lobes of the front are shorter, and not so equal as in old individuals, the middle lobes being distinctly broader than the outer. I doubt the specific distinctness of this form from E. anaglypta. Taken on reefs and in lagoons in Male, Goifurfehendu, Miladumadulu, Fadifolu and Minikoi Atolls."
