"Since Miers speaks of a specimen of some size, it is likely that this is at least a variety, and not merely a young form. I am inclined to think that it will prove to be a distinct species. The specimen before me measures 14 mm. in length and 21 in breadth. The brown colour of the fingers does not spread over the palm. Taken on the reef at Hulule, Male Atoll."
