Male: The 5th thoracic segment is smooth and bears no spines. The Mx2 bears 3 setae with unusual comb-like processes.

Morphology

Female: Cephalothorax is 3.1-3.5 times longer than the abdomen. Posterior corners of the last thoracic segment are rounded. A1 is almost as long as the cephalothorax, or reaches the third thoracic segment. The exopodite of A2 is somewhat longer than the endopodite. The dorsal surface of P4 carries small spines on the first segment of the basipodite and the second and third segments of both branches. The surface of the first segment of the basipodite also carries 5 larger spines.

Male: Posterior corners of the last thoracic segment are rounded and curved externally from dorsal view. Cephalothorax is 2.8 times longer than the abdomen. A1 reaches the middle of the genital segment. The right P5 is four-segmented, its exopodite is armed with a very long apical chaeta. The endopodite of the same leg is two-segmented, is equal in length to half of the first segment of the exopodite. The left P5 is also four-segmented with a very short one-segmented endopodite and a long basipodite.
