Can be distinguished from other species of the genus by the presence of 3 external spines on the left 3rd exopodal segment of P2, and only 2 external spines on the right corresponding segment

Female: Cephalothorax oval in dorsal view, about 3 times longer than the abdomen and 1.9 times longer than wide. Cephalosome separate from 1st segment, 4th and 5th thoracic segments fused. Genital segment slightly asymmetrical ventrally, with lateral borders strongly convex. Anal segment 2 times longer than previous one. Caudal rami slightly asymmetrical, left one being slightly longer, both with 4 setae.
A1 24-segmented, reaches the posterior border of caudal rami
Mouthparts well developed and typical for genus (see genus description). Mxp syncoxa with 1 seta on the 1st lobe.
P1-P4 typical for genus: endopodites 1-segmented, exopodites 3-segmented. Outer spine on the 1st exopodal segment of P1 relatively long, almost reaching the middle of the 3rd segment. Outer distal spine of 1st exopodal segment of P2 extends beyond the distal end of the segment. The outer edge of the 3rd exopodal segment of the left P2 with 3 external spines, of the right – with 2 spines (!).
