In Panama this species has been collected from Jaque, on the East side of the Gulf of Panama (USNM 21066; Centroid Latitude: 7.5500, Centroid Longitude: -78.5722, depth 155 m) and from off Isla Ladrones, Gulf of Chiriqui, eastern Pacific (no depth data recorded, see Lessios, 2005).
