In Panama this species was collected southwest of Coiba Island (USNM E 9483 & USNM 21042; Centroid Latitude: 6.2833, Centroid Longitude: -82.0833), Gulf of Chiriqui, eastern Pacific, by the R. V. Albatross, from a depth of 3058 m.
