Aonyx capensis (African Clawless Otter) is a species of mammals in the family Mustelidae. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Ethiopia. They are solitary, nocturnal carnivores. Individuals are known to live for 132 months and can grow to 815.2 mm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on running and swimming to move around.
