Carcharhinus plumbeus (Sandbar Shark) is a species of modern sharks in the family requiem sharks. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN. They are native to Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Mediterranean Sea, and Indian Ocean. They are nocturnal carnivores. Individuals can grow to 300 cm. Reproduction is iteroparous and viviparous. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on swimming and carcharhiniform to move around.
