描述

體延長而呈圓柱狀,尾部側扁。吻尖而長;上下頜等長,頜齒單列。脊椎骨數135-138。底色由赤褐到褐色,周身遍布模糊的大白斑塊,尾和腹部的斑塊較疏;嘴角黑色,鰓腔表皮有數條黑色的皺褶,眼虹彩淡黃色。以前所記載之白斑裸胸鯙(/Gymnothorax leucostigma /)為本種之異名。

棲地
