Bordello Slickhead

Body with wrinkled gelatinous skin covering. Small photopores on body. Closely resembles R. watasei but differs in having a gently curved and long snout. Body color dusky-purple.

主要分布於印度西太平洋海域，臺灣除西部沿岸較淺水域外皆有分布。

深海魚類，不具經濟價值。

體延長而側扁。頭大。眼大，吻端渾圓，吻部上方略突起，眼徑略小於吻長；上頜長度中等，末端延伸至眼部後緣。上下頜骨均具1列齒列。鰓條骨6。體不被鱗片。側線非常明顯而發達，且具特化園鱗。背鰭和臀鰭位於身體的後端靠近尾柄的位置，臀鰭基底略短於背鰭基底，背鰭起點和臀鰭起點相同或略位於前方，各鰭均無硬棘，背鰭軟條18-20，臀鰭軟條16-20；腹鰭小，位於體中部；尾鰭深叉。體色為深褐色至黑色。

為棲息於水深500-1350公尺深的深海魚類，生態習性所知甚少。
